Emergency Contacts

Emergency contacts is the only tab in the category specific section of the Personnel window that can't be hidden. Each entry has a field for a contact name, relationship to the person, and two contact numbers with identifying tags and general notes for each number. As many contacts can be generated for each person as necessary. Emergency contact information is edited by selecting edit mode from the toolbar in the lower left hand corner of the Emergency Contact window.

Add an Emergency Contact

Append a blank record by clicking the New Record button in the lower left corner of the Emergency Contact window. A blank contact record will be inserted into the list.
Fill in the desired fields for the new contact.
To save the new contact, click the Post Edit button or click the Cancel Changes button to cancel adding the contact. If you are entering several contacts at once, you can automatically save the contact and append a new one in one step by clicking the New Record button instead.

Edit an Emergency Contact

Click the Edit Record button in the lower left corner of the Emergency Contact window. The editable fields in the contact list will turn from green to white to indicate that the program is in edit mode.
Edit the desired record.
Click the Post Edit button to save the changes or click the Cancel Changes button to cancel the changes.

Delete an Emergency Contact

Click on the contact you want to delete. A pointer will appear in the leftmost column.
Click the Delete Item button in the lower left corner of the Emergency Contact window.
If you really want to delete the item answer "Yes". There will be no way to undo the delete.

Change the Display Order of an Emergency Contact

You can change the display order of the emergency contacts by moving a contact up or down in the list.

Click on the contact you want to change. A pointer will appear in the leftmost column.
Click the Move Up or Move Down button in the lower left corner of the Emergency Contact window to move the contact to the desired position.
